Selected Discipline Project

In this project we were asked to create sculpture that reflected the experiences of our life. I thought of feeling and emotions that I was having particular in this week. I based my Sculptors on frustration, refection, repetition and friendship.
My piece is a Video piece with a shadow, these are some still images form the video.

Pocked Sculpture

I wanted to make a multipliable item that expanded from a pocket, I cave up with a circular rotation of card.

New measurements project

I cut out a piece of material that was the same size of the area of my skin. I then embroidered the amount of heart beats on to the fabric that it takes my body to reproduce that area of skin

Sculptor for the body

This was the first mini project I done after easter. I though it was challenging, but I was pleased at how I pushed myself to explored new areas of sculptor.

Sculptor ranking project

On Thursday we had to make doll selves. I made this little guy (see below). But I found that the part that worked best was her feet or as my lecturer so elegantly described them as testicles. I am going to make more of these and progress with them.

Sculptor ranking project

I began by looking at the word 'De-shape'. I stared to look at old used clothes and began to 'de-shape' them. I am thinking of ways to use the de-shaped clothes in sculptural experiments.

Sculptor Elective

TO LICK
I began by thinking of my verb 'to lick' and thought of different types of food. I discovered that chocolate and material make a strong structure and am working on that concept.

PRINT ELECTIVE

First I began my week by looking at lemons and limes. I experimented with different print techniques.

Now I am using what I learnt to make a print edition of a photograph I took of St. Josephs street.
